In January 2020 Dorset police were called amid reports of  a man wearing a suicide vest covered in blood. students posted on social media that they were being kept inside  their buildings because of a suspected terrorism incident involving a man described as having a suicide vest, a gun or a knife. the man had gone for a jog using a weighted exercise vest, readily available and widely used for resistance training.
